Find Web Resources: Discussion

Go to the NiceNet discussion board (go to the Introduction module for instructions on how to join the "class" if you have not already done so).  Click on "Conferencing" and then click on the "Technology" topic thread.

Under the "Find Web Resources" subtopic, please add your thoughts about these topics:

• How can we help our students think critically about what they find on the internet?  Is this important information for a language class? Please explain. (see Additional Resources for links)

• When technology makes it so easy to copy and share files, how do we make sure our students know about copyright?

• Is it more useful for the teacher to spend hours looking for good resources, or to have students gain the experience of searching in the target language?? Please compare and contrast these ideas.
