National Technology Standards

All of us are familiar with the national language standards for language learning, but did you know that there are also national standards for technology learning?  ISTE (International Society for Technology in Education) has put together not only standards for what students should be learning in terms of technology as they go through school, but also the standards for what teacher certification programs should be doing to prepare future teachers for using technology.

This section of the Technology module will guide you through both of those national standards, and then we will take a look at where you are in terms of your own technology skills.
