Exercise 9: Simulation Exercise for Apologizing – 1 

The speaker in the sample dialogue uses polite to very polite language.  She uses the desu/masu style all the way, and sprinkles with some very polite usage --- the humble form of some verbs.

Examples of the humble forms in the dialogue:

                   加藤と申しますが  Katoto moushimasuga

伺うことができなくなってしまったんですukagau kotoga dekinaku natte shimattan desu
