About CARLA

The Center for Advanced Research on Language Acquisition (CARLA) at the University of Minnesota is a research and resource center devoted to improving language teaching and learning. CARLA offers a range of coordinated programs of research, professional development, and dissemination of information targeted at the needs of second language educators throughout Minnesota, across the nation, and around the world.
