Student uses some specific vocabulary and appropriate grammar learned in class. Misunderstandings resulting from grammar or vocabulary errors are clarified in the target language. |
Approaching Expectations |
Student breaks character occasionally. Student speaks, but often does not respond to other participant’s comments or questions. Vocabulary reflects very familiar language with limited use of recently learned vocabulary. Grammatical errors make communication difficult at times. |
